The Four Noble Truths and the Six Paramitas and the Eightfold Path (illustrated)

Tze-si "Jesse" Huang

Translated from his native language, Chinese scholar and Buddhist master Tze-si Huang offers the reader a sublime journey through the foundational truths  on which Buddhism is based.

The simple and unusual format of the volume gives the reader, or meditator, time to deeply consider inner dimensions of Buddha’s Enlightenment and the Four Noble Truths.  Each aspect of the Eightfold Path is opened out in an astoundingly simple, yet clear, way.  The meaning of the Six Paramitas – from Giving to Wisdom – are explained succinctly.

The passages are placed around a symbolic die-cut square hole that penetrates the book completely.  The beautiful illustrations by the renowned artist Demi flow around the text and pull the reader/meditator into a world of serenity, peace, and clarity.

This book is dedicated to Thomas Merton and his love of the Bodhi Dharma.
