Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani received a degree in Chemistry from the American University of Beirut and then studied medicine in Louvain, Belgium. He later received his Islamic law degree, then went on to study the Sufi spiritual path with two great masters of wisdom. Other books by the shaykh include: Classical Islam and the Naqshbandi Sufi Tradition, Pearls and Coral, Angels Unveiled, Keys to the Divine Kingdom, Encyclopedia of Islamic Doctrine (7 volumes), Approach of Armageddon? and Women Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (with Dr. L.Bakhtiar). Shaykh Kabbani is chairman of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi Order, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of America, an educational organization based in Michigan, and co-chair of Kamilat Muslim women’s organization.
