Paul Pearson is Director and Archivist of the Thomas Merton Center at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky and Chief of Research for the Merton Legacy Trust. He is Resident Secretary of the International Thomas Merton Society, served as President for the 10th administration, and was program chair for the 11th International Thomas Merton Society conference held in Rochester in June 2009. His most recent book, A Meeting of Angels: The Correspondence of Thomas Merton with Edward Deming and Faith Andrews, was published by Broadstone Books in October 2008 and was given an “Award of Merit” at the Kentucky Historical Society Awards in 2009.
