Mohammed Rustom is Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies at Carleton University.

He is the author of The Triumph of Mercy: Philosophy and Scripture in Mulla Sadra (SUNY), an assistant editor of the HarperCollins Study Qur’an (HarperOne), and the main editor of an anthology of William Chittick’s writings entitled, In Search of the Lost Heart: Explorations in Islamic Thought (SUNY).

Dr. Rustom’s current projects include a volume on the theme of human nature in Qur’anic exegetical literature (OUP/IIS), and a book on the famous Persian Sufi, ‘Ayn al-Qudat Hamadani (d. 1131).
